Where to position the logo on a uniform?
Maybe you've never stopped to think about it, but the position of the logo on a uniform is extremely important. Often, it is this detail that makes the composition aesthetically pleasing (or not) and that makes its visual identity stand out.
Several aspects must be taken into consideration, such as size, colors, elements (symbols, images), and the piece on which the logo will stand out most. Always taking into account, of course, the brand's identity and proposal.
There are also several ways of application: embroidery, thermocol, tag and silk. This choice directly influences the final result, so choose a supplier that offers you good guidance in this regard.
In addition to all these details, you need to decide the most important thing, which is is the position of the logo. This is what will make your brand stand out or not, as the position is responsible for making your audience see your brand in clothing. And, of course, it varies depending on the item.
T-shirts, shirts and coats:
On the chest - the logo can be placed on either the left or right of the chest. This is where most companies decide to use it, as it is a subtle and classic form of identification.
On the sleeve – generally chosen by companies when they have more than one logo, it is a few centimeters above the edge, offering more prominence.
On the back – this is one of the most visible places, often chosen when uniforms are sent to fairs and supermarkets.
Pants and shorts:In this case, the logo is usually on the back, or below a pocket on the front of the waist.
Caps: On caps, the logo can be applied anywhere – on the back, on the front, side, tab...
But of course there are no fixed rules. It all depends on the message you want to think, the type of company, your marketing strategy and suppliers.
