Andy Warhol: The pop artist who turned aesthetics into identity

Andy Warhol's art arrived in Sao Paulo-and Office Collection made a point of checking this icon that molded not only the creative world, but also the way we see fashion, image and expression.

Central 20th Century Figure, Warhol revolutionized by transforming everyday objects into art and bringing the universe closer to advertising to artistic sensitivity. He began his career as a commercial illustrator, signing ads for fashion and beauty magazines. His look at consumption and image has positioned him as the main name of pop art - a movement that, to this day, influences the design of corporate uniforms and the visual communication of contemporary brands.

His most emblematic technique, screen printing, allowed serial reproductions with intense colors and striking contrasts. This is how he eternalized figures such as Marilyn Monroe and Elvis Presley, highlighting the impact of images on mass culture. This fusion between art and industry is a legacy that echoes in current corporate fashion, where visual is also strategy: colors, cuts and prints transmit values and strengthen brand identity.

Warhol was also a fashion lover. Created covers for the Interview magazine, collaborated with big names in the industry and inspired patterns that follow present in collections and tissues. Its bold and repetitive aesthetics showed that dressing is also communicating - a concept that translates into the essence of Office Collection: Sophistication with purpose, style with identity.

The exhibition is on display at the Brazilian Art Museum (MAB FAAP), at Rua Alagoas, 903 - Higienópolis, Sao Paulo, from Tuesday to Sunday. Tickets are available online.

But Attention: The show goes only until June 30th.
